Innovating from the user experience
Smart Energy Home aims to be a platform for sustainable home innovations that enhance the quality of life, taking into the account the different experiences and wishes of end-users across Europe. The SEH consortium seeks synergies and common opportunities through an Open Innovation approach. Complementary partners from industry and academia are involved on a project basis.
As a basis for user-centred innovation activities, SEH initiated the creation of the LIVING LAB project, which is now headed by Delft University of Technology. This EU funded design study brings together seven companies and universities to investigate the feasibility of creating a European wide research infrastructure for evaluation of home solutions in a real environment.
