Leading industry joining forces

After initial incubation under the Suschem umbrella, the Smart Energy Home initiative in 2008 and 2009 has been financed and driven by industry leaders Acciona, BASF, Evonik, Philips and Roca.

These companies allowed SEH to invest in a strong base of high level contacts with the demand side of the housing market (both new build and renovation) and the development of a strong, clear structure in which multi-stakeholder partnerships regarding zero emission buidling or renvoation projects can be undertaken

For 2010, SEH is now in dialogue with selected product category leaders in order to create a larger  consortium of some 15-20 leading companies determined to overcome the barriers that hinder the mass-uptake of healthy, resource-efficient and smart homes. These partners join forces to promote the cost-effective realisation of modern residential buildings that are adapted to the needs of society and inhabitants alike.

As before, each partner holds complementary solutions and expertise necessary to realise the SEH vision. They are all in the forefront of innovation, and have cost effective products that integrated into a full solution can really  make zero emission building and renovation projects happen.
