Smart Energy Home aims to accelerate the uptake of energy-efficient, healthy homes that by integrating smart technology and solutions consume radically little resources while enhancing the quality of life. SEH is about providing a high quality, sustainable living experience without any radical increase in costs.

The technologies exist, the will is there, and the need for humanity to save resources is urgent. Still, most of our homes are built to require an excessive use of energy and water in order to provide comfort. The Smart Energy Home initiative brings together leading companies that are determined to overcome the barriers that prevent sustainable houses from being the norm.

Going further than mere definition, SEH takes concrete, complementary actions to demonstrate its social, technical and financial viability; to inform and support professionals and end-users to realise the SEH concept; and to innovate further to create even better solutions based on the reality in the home.
